Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the current regulatory environment<\/span><\/h1><\/div>
Consideration of sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the current regulatory environment and in attitudes toward business responsibility. Such sustainability data requirements are increasing, as exemplified by the forthcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will require many companies to report on their sustainability initiatives. The implementation of these standards will not only be required but will also be essential for business representatives as they become increasingly popular with stakeholders and investors.<\/div><\/header>

CSRD impact on companies<\/span><\/h1><\/div><\/header>

The CSRD will affect listed and large companies, providing clear criteria for application:<\/span><\/div>

\u2022 More than 250 employees: companies with more employees are subject to CSRD requirements.

\u2022 More than \u20ac40 million in sales or more than \u20ac20 million in assets: By turnover or asset size, as defined in the CSRD, companies must also report on their sustainability efforts.

These requirements are likely to extend to smaller companies that are part of the suppliers of larger companies subject to the CSRD.<\/span><\/h1><\/div><\/header>
